is there any empirical relation between the relaxation time (taken as the inverse of the frequency at crossover) and the molecular weight drop in thermal degradation study of polypropilene ?

Dear Oussama Boumezgane, the question as it is stated doesn't consider the whole factors deciding on this relationships. To quote MWD, chain stiffness/flexibility, MWc critical for enteglements onset, temperature, experimental testing time (Deborah number), hesterysis...and others. Please check the following documents. Thermal degradation negatively impact molecular weight. Relaxation time depends on the chain length and branches.
