Does IR spectroscopy vary with polymorphism like monohydrate , di hydrate and tri hydrate molecules and is there any change with amorphous, crytalline?
Generally yes, unless the 3D structure of the two different forms (polymorphs, hydrates) is subtlely different. Amorphous materials usually have fewer and broader bands, crystalline materials have more bands which are generally sharper. I'd also use Raman spectroscopy as a complementary tool. Go look in the literature - you will find lots of references on the subject. Try looking for publications by T. Threlfall as a starting point.
