I plan to do the spin coating on the glass substrate. Please can anyone share the book or journal article details for preparing the spin coating solution?
If anyone has experience with spin coating, please guide me.
What material do you wish to apply to the glass? Is it a polymer or a sol-gel process?
The most important matters to concern you are:
The substrate and chemicals must be scrupulously clean. In the past I've posted a glass cleaning recipe. See: https://www.researchgate.net/post/What_is_the_best_way_to_clean_ITO_coated_glass_substrate
All liquids should be filtered to 0.1 microns or better
The solution must wet the substrate. The substrate needs to be dry and particle free. The solution viscosity (reduce polymer) or solvent can be adjusted to aid wetting.
A spin coater (e.g. Headway) is always better than dip coating in order to get an even film. The film coating thickness is determined by the chemical and its concentration in solution and spin speed,
How do you propose to spin coat ITO onto glass? The normal route to prepare glass with a conductive transparent coating is to use magnetron sputtering or something similar. I believe there are routes in sol-gel to make transparent coatings of this type, but I am not familiar with them. Our ITO coated glass was always brought in from companies such as Balzers.
