Reduction of width of the classical waveguide ?

I need a solution of metallic technologies (not microstrip technology ) that allows me to reduce width of the classical waveguide (w) without increasing the cut-off frequency (fc)

Use ridge waveguide.

Fill it with dielectric (or magnetic) material.

Fill it with metamaterial.

Make a broadband evanescent mode filter (if possible).
