When a woman carries twins, with one male fetus and one female fetus, there seems to be a risk for female fetus. The female is often born with reduced chances of conceiving and delivering offspring herself when she grows up. This raises the question, does the sexual development of the female fetus affected by the male hormones from the sibling? Does this increase the probability of the female developing transgender issues?

Are there treatments that would reduce the chances of conceiving twins?

These questions are socially important.
