I would like to know if they have done or have published work done or not about red flags or diagnostic factors of epidemiological elements, symptoms or laboratory in individuals with febrile syndrome in endemic area for hantavirus
Hantavirus infection is a life threatening viral zoonosis, which is reported from Asia and America. The fatality rate in Hantavirus pulmonary syndrome may reach to about 45 %. ELISA and PCR help in confirming the diagnosis.
I have not done any research on Hantavirus. You can find information on Hantavirus in my book on Zoonoses.
My book entitled " Zoonoses" is published by Satyam Publishers,Jaipur, India. This book was the first in India to describe about 167 zoonootic diseases caused by viruses, bacteria, fungi, Rickettsia, actinomycetes ,prions, algae, protozoa, helminths, and ectoparasites. It is not available online.
