I am researching about the waste silicas of the glass factory.
Dear professor, I have several questions for you as a researcher in the field of ferrosilicon.
First question:
Generally, the silica wastes of glass factories are 0.1 to 0.01 mm in size
which cannot be entered into electric arc furnaces in powder form, what solutions do you have to turn said silicas into lumps?
Is it possible to glue the silica waste together with adhesive or polymer and create a lump?
Which adhesives or polymers can be used that won't cause any problems for the electric arc furnace and the final product (ferrosilis)?
