This fall, I will teach applied production economics to a group of continuing education students (so, adult learners; most have a full-time or part-time job). I want to integrate blockchain, or distributed ledger technology, and how it can be used in agriculture and food systems. Looking for an open-source, well written article on said topic. Blockchain integrated food supply chain can be one of the many topics to explore. Also, some IoT devices/sensors can be there in the agriculture field and their collected data can be shared on the blockchain while smart contracts can make some conditional decisions.
