Hi everyone:
I am tidying up my data and trying to publish it in a prestigious journal scoping on molecular medicine or biology. We finished all molecular and cell biology works we can think of and human clinical samples cautiously, but animal works are absent because of time and budget limitation. It is a common sense that better journal is certainly a bit more picky, but peers' personal experience with the journal editors is still valuable for me to start from the promising journals. Is there anybody want to share your publication experience with me?

1) Regardless of where you end up submitting, consider depositing your manuscript in a pre-print server such as Bioarxive or alike. You will establish precedence and will have a peace of mind that you'll not get scooped.
2) Submit early and get feedback. You have nothing to lose!
