Recent research has shown 1 napping during the day is good for older adults vs napping is bad for other adults. What is your view on this important topic for older adults?
I like to sleep well, maybe not so much at night, because I have only 6 hours time for it, in the morning we get up very early. Other people get along with even less sleep. But I fall asleep at my desk when I am tired. After I wake up, I can concentrate well again.
Shorter rests or little naps during the day are surely healthy, if the body requires it, especially for older people. Sleeping during the day, cannot be healthy; always, when I had to work in night shifts, I did never feel the same reconvalescence than sleeping at night.
From my point of view, I think that napping is important for the human body and the brain as weel because it is like restarting the computer and even if it is very little, it re-activates the body, which is important in terms of health and mental
Napping is required for every human beings ,person with professional career or a independent businessmen after his working would prefer to take a nap for about half and hrs in case certain people may not go for nap but sit silently by closing his eye for relaxation .
In case of old age person his earlier activities have been reduced considerably & for his nap or a sleep for the rest time , it depends upon the working habit of an aged person .
Napping enhances memory and concentration and gives way to new cycles of brain activity in a more relaxed fashion. It also emphasizes non-lengthening in nap because excessive comfort may affect normal sleep patterns.
From my point of view, I think that napping is important for the human body and the brain as well because it is like restarting the computer and even if it is very little, it re-activates the body, which is important in terms of health and mental.
In my own opinion, I usually find myself taking a nap most of the time towards evening time. It refreshes my body and a get reinvigorated for other work of the day.
