There was recent experiment which proved group of photons acts as a wave and particle .

I assume that the photon is the particle that forms around an alternating electric field, possibly due to its internal structure!
This model allows to explain ALL the properties of the photon, including waves and “tired light”.

according to my opinion a photon is neither a particle nor a wave.
It is an entity which behaves sometimes like we are used to treat particles like balls of finite dimension when it is absorbed or emitted by fermions, because it exchanges a momentum with them.
It is an entity which has a wave-like behaviour when it is produced with some others from the same source, giving birth to a diffraction pattern in some experiments.
It does not have a proper dimension, we don't really know what it does between the emission and the absorption, we can only infer that in free space it goes in a straight line.

Dear Bhushan, Excellent question. When I see a ripple in the water, I would say: "that's a wave" But when the tsunami hit Fukushima, everybody knew it was a gigantic impact as from a gigantic particle.
A whip popping in the air is like a standing wave, but when it hits the horse, the wave stops and the horse has pain.
Why would light be so different? Thus, what you will discover indeed depends from the experiment.
What is the problem? I think about photons the way they were illustrated in my physics courses as particles that vibrate transversely to their direction of travel. This explains why light is polarized. Quantal effects are understandable by recognizing that their vibration wave is a probability function.
