How would a dead person view reality? Obviously it is not possible and I am not referring to some metaphysical presence after death. What I am asking is that the philosophy and science that we study is from our perspective, i.e. an alive person's perspective. And anyone studying natural and social sciences and philosophy knows very well that the world is not how it is perceived to be. As an example, we know that various animal species interact with the world in very unique manners. Some through chemicals secreted, some through smell (dogs) and some through infra-red radiations (snake) or ultrasonic sounds (bat). The phenomenology of experiencing the world is totally different for all these species. If we ask these species how the world seems to them, all of them would answer differently (in some fictitiously possible manner). Similarly, mathematicians and physicists know that description of world from 2D perspective differs from 3D or 4D perspective. We experience world from 3D perspective. Also we have various modes of perception --- five physical senses, time perception, kinesthetic perception etc. So we have various ways to describe the world, although we utilize only few of these modes to describe and label our experiences.

What if we lose all these ways of perceiving the world. In neurological disorders, it is found that people tend to lose certain perceptions and hence their experience of world varies greatly from an otherwise normal experience. For example a person may lose perception of time which may happen in memory disorders and other parietal lobe dysfunctions. But other modalities of sensing the world remain either intact or are damaged slightly depending on the damage to brain. Lets take an imaginary condition here and consider that a person loses all modes of perception. Well this may be a popular sci-fi context here so lets consider the person is dead. That means an inert body. How would the world now seem to him/her. Or putting this another way, how the world can be explained from a non-existent human being's perspective.

The answers would be pure imaginations. In order to imagine, consider from your own perspective that suppose you are dead and now explain the world. You can answer anyway you like.

While searching through net I couldn't find any reference which can tell how the world would like to a dead person. Many sci-fi books and movies may have covered this theme but currently I do not have any info about that. So if you can then please provide me some references too - fiction, non-fiction both.
