Hi all.

I'm looking for some reference articles that address the number of projections from cortical interneurons to pyramidal cells, and vice versa in the cortex.

According to what I have learned from my advisor, it is known that the number of projections from one cortical interneuron to the pyramidal cells is approximately 200 (i.e. cortical IN: PYR = 1: 200) in the mouse cortex. So far, however, I couldn't find any references that support this statement.

Do you think this is true? Are there any papers that provide evidence or at least some clues about this?

Thanks in advance.
