Greetings to the academic community.
Does anyone know the possibility of applying for a grant or donation where it is possible to obtain radio telemetry equipment for tracking forest-dwelling owl species? I know about HOLOHIL from Canada, but they only donate transmitters without antenna and radio receiver. Most of the grant donors I know allocate small or modest funding which are not enough to procure this rather expensive equipment. Any comments or cooperation offers are welcome.

It is too hard trying to get funding and cooperation for this type of research I found when I tried too. People are reluctant to help and very negative. You could create a mechanistic computer model instead. I made one for my PhD to show seed dispersal by native New Zealand pigeons :)
