In order to simulate the effects of radiation damage on the dark current of a CMOS image sensor, I need to obtain the particle charge generation due to heavy-ions using a  monte-carlo tool like GEANT 4.  A reference publication https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s11432-017-9323-0 of similar work is attached.
