R2A agar for BHAA?

When performing bacterial heterotrophs aerobic and facultative anaerobic counts, is there another procedure medium than R2A agar? Thank you all.

Its depend on your sample. R2A is relatively balanced in composition and relatively low organic nutrients. I'd been use Petrifilm of 3M only for counting heterotrophic bacteria (maybe plate count agar).
