At the 1982 Purdue Compressor I presented a paper " Analytical Modeling of Helical Screw Machine for Analysis and Performance Prediction", which presented the effect of dissolved refrigerant in the oil.

In that case the oil separator was not so efficient.

Question 1: Can anyone give me results from investigation of effects from different oil separators?

Question 2: Has anyone investigated what happens with the oil on its way from the oil separator to the injection hole. I.e. how much refrigerant has flashed out before reaching the injection hole due to pressure drop?
