However, the solution is sold commercially from 0.1-1.0% with a shelf life of 6-12 months. Why does it have to be made fresh? What is its stability? Is it a temperature or UV dependent reaction? Can storing in a brown(amber) bottle and/or refrigerating allow for longer use?
