"Publish or perish" seems to be the slogan "in vogue", but is there another emergency exit ?

People have to publish in a factor impacted journal, but the must high quoted ones hardly accept non experimental works. What have a pure theorician to do, then in order to overcome this difficulty ?

Peer reviewed journals can be an alternative in this case but then again, the impact factor has to be taken into consideration as well. We can't have both world perhaps but a point to consider.
