Choi, in Petrel you easily can change any grid property using either the property calculator, property modeling module or the Uncertainty module. Changing the depth means changing the 3D grid. Then you need to rebuild the grid using the Make horizon, make zones and Layering over again. This you may do using the Uncertainty Module og Workflow editor if you want many different realizations.

Yes, it is possible to alter reservoir parameters in a model. Since, reservoir models makes use of different well log properties within the reservoir unit. These properties are imputed during upscaling and distributed laterally across the reservoir depending on the simulation type or method used. Therefore altering the well log value will also alter the reservoir properties when inputed in the model.

This process will involve altering the well log properties, and this can be done on Petrel by following the steps below;

Navigate to the well log you will like to alter under each well, right click and click on SPREADSHEET to view the property value and their corresponding sampled depth. You can then copy the content to EXCEL and do your alteration and then paste it back on the SPREADSHEET.

However, if you alteration includes inputing a formula, you can also do your alteration on Petrel by;

Navigate to the particular well, right click and then choose CALCULATOR.

This platform gives you the chance to input your formula with inclusion of well logs utilizing disparate inbuilt templates.

After altering the well log properties, you will still have to go through the previous process of creating the grid and upscaling of well logs to effect the changes as needed.
