I have some queries regarding the experiment on magnetic field effect on plasma discharge.
1. To conduct experiment on low magnetic field(~0-100 G),which Langmuir probe(i.e. single or double) should be used?I found many papers in which double Langmuir probe is used.
2. I read many papers but didn't find any on optical characterization of effect of magnetic field on plasma parameters. Can it be not used to measure plasma parameters in presence of magnetic field?
3. What is the difference in result for above experiment for ac source and dc source ? Can ac supply be used for discharge in presence of magnetic field?
P.S. If anyone could send me the link to papers for modelling of magnetic field effect on plasma discharge in simulink, I'd appreciate it a lot.

Besides, in the following paper we have investigated the effect of magnetic field strength on the plasma spectra.
In general, magnetic field can be used for different reasons in different plasma sources. i.e. in Helicon plasma sources magnetic field is so important for Helicon wave excitation and also for better plasma confinement. In ECR plasmas at a determined power supply microwave frequency a specified magnetic field is necessary, etc.

Furthermore the Dr Mohsen recomendation, I advise that a magnetic field could modify output of any probes, so I should recommend that if you use the helicon plasma antenna, you could add to the test a simple coil loop to measure the magnetic field and also a current sensor at power supply line, then modify the current of the 0-100 gauss magnetic field generator using an Ac source and write a report about that, it could be a very interesting paper.
I advise also that a friend of me made a similar work and he stated that it is needed a bigger magnetic field to modify the injected current value
