Con que sea una única broma, puede ser una agresión, una violencia psicológica, discriminación y no necesariamente un bullying. El bullying depende de ser constante y por un período largo (e.g. 3 meses).

Importante dejar claro que son todos malos. Pero como fenómeno puede ser ligeramente diferente y las intervenciones para trabajar con uno y con otro también difiren según el fenómeno. Tanto la intervención para el estigmatizado como la persona que agride.

La (in)adecuación de la conducta puede variar y en todo caso es necesario hablar seriamente y describir conductualmente lo inadecuado que es y como se interpreta. Además, si es en un contexto institucional (e.g., escuela, trabajo), llamar a las personas que institucionalmente tienen poder.

It really depends on your perspective. To the target of the attack, it might appear to be bullying because it is damaging (physically, to their self-esteem, etc.). To the perpetrator of the attack, it might be seen as innocent fun, like a prank.

It is easy for someone to do something to another with the intention of making others laugh, while the victim suffers real pain from the event.

One must consider the perspective when thinking about the difference.
