In one of my studies, I collected qualitative data by asking participants questions. These questions measure objective knowledge (e.g., What was the theme of the High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) on Sustainable Development in 2017?). Now I want to quantify these answers by qualitatively evaluating them one by one and assigning (1- incorrect, 2.5- more incorrect than correct, 5.5- more correct than incorrect, 7- correct).
My question: have you seen this kind of quantification method and do you have any source you could recommend?
