I am an undergraduate pursuing B tech in materials science with specialization in nanotechnology. I have a passion for research and innovation. I have a good research profile as an undergraduate. I want a well paid job, should I pursue a MS or PhD?
Hi, This is hard to tell as you have to think if you want to go through few more years of learning and how long you would be happy to do so. PhD as well as some MS are well paid but all depends from your specialization. When I started my PhD I didn't consider EngD but now, base on my expirience I would consider doing EngD - as you could have expirience at both University as well as industry. The choice is yours!
You should rather look at the possibilities in the country you live in. In some places PhD is not worth doing to get a well-paid job, on the other hand, in other places it's a good choice.
Dr. Mohanad A. Mamoori.. I don't want to be just another conventional researcher. I want to do something that is impactful, especially to the society. Some people say that big companies prefer MS over PhD. So what should I do? It's very confusing..
