When I run square wave voltammetry for Pt electrode in 1mM KNO3, I see a reduction peak around +1.3V; in 100 mM KNO3 the peak disappears. I thought it might be Pt oxide reduction, however in the papers I read it is reported at much lower potential. What else can it be?

Are you using aqueous solution of KNO3? Is the voltage +1.3V vs Ag/AgCl reference electrode? Will it be possible to share the CV, it will be easier to understand.

Yes, it is aqueous KNO3, vs. Ag/AgCl. I attached the SW voltammogram (recorded from higher to lower potential).

Can you please polish the electrode, make fresh KNO3 solution (check the pH too if possible), and run a CV stating from the OCP? CV will give more information about the system.

please see the attached CV. It's freshly prepared 0.3 mM KNO3 in DI water (pH 5.5).
I'm not quite sure what did you mean by running it starting from OCP.
