a close friend is experiencing hair loss, she is only 25 and doesn't know the reason behind it. blood test is good. might have to do something with hormones, but her doctors are not sure.

I'd like to scan her hair with SEM EDS and compare it to mine, my university has very good equipment and i thought it'd be fun. it would also be interesting comparing her hair near the root vs 7/8 cm long, which is where is usually breaks.

has anyone ever done it, suggestions?
