What are the difficulties or problems faced during installations by manufacturers and farmers as well as during the operation of the solar water pumping systems in different climatic conditions/zones under?
There are some common problems faced in the installation and operation of solar water pumps by farmers as well as by manufacturers such as:
- Capital cost initially is high. However, with the drop-down of PV systems cost the benefits will back to both farmers and contractors!
- A reliable and effective system design is essential.
- Optimum Operation and maintenance are an issue. Smart systems will be useful.
- System security from thieves, especially in a rural area should be considered.
