I tried plotting the graph in origin 8 but I am facing the problem in x n y axis as the values r visible in the scale portion but ticks disappeqr in both the x n y axis. I think their is a issue in settings. does anyone know how to adjust the settings so that ticks appear visible in the axis ?
Hi Saba,
Follow following steps
1. Click on the particular axis (X or Y) which opens a dialog box.
2. In dialog box click on title and format tab.
3. In title and format tab there is a drop down menu for major and minor ticks. Select as per your choice the tick type you want (cross, outside or inside)
4. before closing the dialog box click apply.

I tried these steps but still facing the same issue . I plotted earlier three graphs which were done with normal settings but on making the fourth graph issue arised . basal ticks on both x and y axis disappeared. in fact I think some setting issue is there. I tried all the options available on the origin sotware. but no result . send me ur email id so that I can send u the plot which shows this issue.

If you use trial version or cracked version of origin Vr. 8, 8.5, 9 or et cetera, you will face with this problem, so try to use an authorized one.
