I am basically doing my research in Intrusion detection/Prevention system by any Machine learning method but what i have study till i find out that almost every method accuracy reaches upto almost 95 to 99.6 % but what i assume that almost these accuracy comes up with the same data set that mean its not about to be realistic.

i need some help regarding this.

a little help would really be appreciated
