Pressure drop equation for Wall-coated microreactors?

Most literature points towards the Ergun equation (e.g

Article Coated-Wall Reactor ModelingCriteria for Neglecting Radial C...

) for the pressure drop calculation across a wall-coated microreactor.

Using that equation obviously overstates the pressure drop since it is usually used for packed-bed reactors, so can anyone point me to a more reliable equation?
