I have read a research paper in which research had made gold particles from cell free extract of Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

In methodology they explained the procedure: For synthesis of gold nanoparticles (Au NPs); hydrogen tetrachloroaurate

was mixed with 50 ml of cell free supernatant to

obtain a final concentration of gold ions to be 1 mM, the resulting

solution was incubated at 37 ◦C for 24 h.

But how much gold solution is required they did not mention.
