Potential monitoring system for shakers in CO2 incubators?

We are looking for a monitoring system like this for our plate shakers in our CO2 incubators:

One of our shakers failed during the weekend for at least hours before the next person went into lab to feed cells. We want to prevent this from happening again in the future by putting some kind of monitoring system on the shakers so that at least someone gets the alert. That way, we would be able to attend to the shaker more quickly.

Please let me know if this kind of monitoring system is available. Or if anyone has any "DIY" suggestions, please also let me know. Thank you!
