Kindly I am asking for the possibilities of formation of transition metal complexes of Pt(II) with octahedral geometry.
If it is possible, could you help me by referring to published papers that included this type of complexes?

Here you can find a file including 155 cif for complexes with Pt(II), C.N.=6, and excluding Pt(IV). Some of the complexes presented octahedral geometry and the other distorted forms of C.N.=6. You may find many suitable examples for octahedral formation of Pt(II) complexes.

According to the literature, all Pt(II) complexes are square planar. So, you should exclude octahedral geometry for Pt(II) or Pd(II) complexes.
Abanoub Mosaad Abdallah like Adnan Qadir I'm not really aware of octahedral complexes of Pt(II). Attached please find a reference in which a "quasi-octahedral" complex of divalent platinum is reported.
