what are the advantages of learning languages via video camera? Against the background of COVID-19, I have the impression that there is always general talk about online learning having certain advantages. However, I would like to know if there are any studies or papers that discuss exactly what influence, for example, zoom meetings have on language learning?

As a lecturer of DAF (German as a Foreign Language), the most interesting benefit of using a webcam is the almost clinical view of the mouth movements when students produce sounds of the German language. This detailed view would hardly be possible in the classroom, as the students would certainly find it uncomfortable. The prerequisite for this is of course the correct position of the students’ faces in front of the camera.
We use MS Teams at our institution. This allows us to record the lectures, which the students can use later at any time to repeat the material, which is a second benefit when using a Webcam.
As an e-learning developer, we use the Moodle platform, which also uses Zoom as an educational resource, as it allows the storage, management, and reuse of educational content. One of the advantages offered by the e-learning training platform is the individualization of the learning process - each participating actor has his own assimilation of a rhythm and relies in the learning process on auditory memory quickly controlling their progress, benefiting from fast and permanent feedback.
Statistics show that 70-80% of educational material presented online is memorized through listening, viewing, and interactivity. Zoom is easy and efficient in the interaction between tutors and trained staff to understand the knowledge taught and received. In my opinion, the answer to using dynamic technologies like Zoom, including language learning, is real-time feedback.
It can be a more reliable environment for learning as learning is virtual or distant..Also, it has a positive effect on learners' communication as it involves other aspects for learning than the the four language skills like gestures and facial expressions which add a lot in learning and grasping the ideas..
It could be well-organized and well-directed depending on the presenter or lecturer. The affirmative atmosphere is everything no matter what the media is for learning.
Yes, learning with zoom meetings have a very influential and positive effect on the learners all over the world. Zoom meeting allows the learners to continue their education irrespective of what the COVID 19 has put it's impression. Out of the four learning skills or acquisition skills that is LSRW, It enhances the L that is listening skill and speaking skill in more effective ways. Students come to relate technology to their education and it become easier to get education in a more fluent way.

This is my own little contributions.
First and foremost is that it facilitates and gives instructors or lecturers the opportunity to connect synchronously with students or viewers through internet conference calls, which helps students to work in groups or individually.
Secondly is that it helps to harmonize language learning, so that mistakes are easily avoided or ruled out.
Thirdly and lastly to finish up, it helps both the instructors and students to learn from each other, simultaneously without the need of videoing, thus just learning virtually.
