As for our research, we have encountered a problem with respect to the porous sample. We would like to have a set of silicon carbide porous media with different porosity and different pore size.
For example,
Porosity of 0.7 with 10, 20, 30 PPI
Porosity of 0.8 with 10, 20, 30 PPI
Porosity of 0.9 with 10, 20, 30 PPI.
Are there any suppliers, manufacturers, or institutes that can fabricate these samples ?

For our study, we think the replica method is the appropriate way to fabricate samples with anticipated pore size (1 mm) and porosity (>70%).
We know a technology named iterative coating, but we are not specialist in fabricating the porous media.
The easiest way is maybe to find a supplier. But we have no information about that.

Silicon carbide foam is available from Goodfellow stock in a standard pore size of 24 pores per centimeter (60 ppi), with a bulk density of 0.29 g.cm-3, a porosity of 91% and a thickness of 10 mm. However, other porosities, densities and dimensions may be available upon request.
