There are many solvents can be used such as toluene chloroform dichlorobenzen , sometimes a mix of solvent can be used . the chose of solvent is more important where some solvents are increase or produce domain size in nano scale and some of them can not dissolve the polymer and you get aggregation of donor and acceptor . Normally to prepare the active layer you need to try different solvents taken in account the thickness of active layer . i hope my answer is helpful .

You could also try bromobenzene, still halogenated but with reduced risks albeit reduced solubility.
