the suitable C/N ratio required to lactic acid bacteria?
Dear Rao,
I think its not easy to pinpoint a specific C:N ratio, as it may differ slightly or sometimes standardisation is also required at most of the cases. Please go through the papers attached with this mail, as it may help you.
This will largely depend on growth conditions. Faster growing cells have more protein so a lower C:N ratio. A specific value cannot be given.
