I have been trying to encapsulate wax inside a metal shell nanoparticle (300nm) by the heteroflocculation method. But I am not able to see clear images of nanoparticle via the HR-SEM .The method of heteroflocculation involves the electrostatic attraction between the wax particle and the small metal nanoparticles, coming together to form a shell on wax particles. The problem here I think is that, instead of forming shell nanoparticles, they are forming nano-metal and wax composites due to electrostatic attraction. I am not sure what to do? Please suggest a method or way to resolve this. I have also attached an image with this.
Hybrid nanoparticles of two metals are obtained by reducing their mixture of ions in an aqueous solution. A hybrid nanoparticle consisting of wax and metal can not be obtained.

Also, I was thinking about another method where I could sensitize the wax particle surface with a catalyst and then reduce metal ions onto its surface to form a shell. Do you think this method could work?
Wax in the structure of the ether. Metal ions should form a coordination compound with wax. Then it is possible to restore this complex ion by a strong reducing agent. I do not know the structure of your wax, it can have active groups. The ether does not co-ordinate the direct coordination bonds with the ions. Therefore, I told you so before.
