You will need to give more details about the type of rodent and where the parasite was found on the body. More so, was the rodent domesticated, a laboratory animal or found in the wild?

I personally never saw one like this. Are you sure it is a parasite? If it is a single diptera you pick off of one animal, this is rather unlikely. If they occur in masses, this is however different.

So, more data please. Are there many like this? What kind of rodent is infested? Is it from laboratory breeding facility or a wild one?

It was isolated from the next of the anus of rodents (Rattus rattus) that were captured from the wild and i have found it in an average of 2 individuals per rodent.

The picture was not clear, it could be this ectoparasite not obligate or specific with rodent infection could be hold accidentally by this wild animal, if you don't mind this ecto hold and mount on slid and re send the picture

 think you preserve this ectoparasite in appropriate solution and send it to any laboratory that can classified. so you can for sure know which species and if they transmissible for specific disease.

Actually, i want to make informations about several ectoparasites of rodents with a training, but i didn't receive any answer from all the laboratory that i have contact before.
