If you use BEA it mostly inhibits other gram-positive bacteria and gram-negative bacteria due to the presence of bile salts(oxygall) and azide, except Group-D Streptococci and Enterococci. Also, It contains the nutrient ferric citrate and Esculin helps to differentiate upon hydrolyzation.
