Hi, you might want to read my two papers on word frequency and age of acquisition regarding memory recall. We used a combination of Morrision et al., 1997 and Celex to create our own word lists which we tried to match on word frequency and age of acquisition.

Hi James. PubMed there is a report about the consolidation of memories. You're right that there is little information regarding this subject. But studies waves in REM sleep, hippocampal activity, and the use of some database, refer to these aspects. They are mainly related to consolidation of memories for fear conditioning or other Pavlovian associations.
