I want to compare the prediction and optimization abilities of response surface methodology with artificial neural network method. I designed RSM experiments and optimized factor conditions with design expert. I desire to compare these results with those obtained from neural network methods. I have a trial version of Matlab but I cannot operate it. I believe that even without computer programming abilities I should be able to find my way around the software to run the desired analysis.

Thank you very much for all your contributions. They were very helpful. I am glad to inform you that with your suggestions I have achieved 75% success already. I am truly grateful.
1. Create input vector matrix, each column represents pattern.
2. Create target vector matrix
3. Normalize the both the input and target vector using mapminmax function
4. Create the neural network model using newff or newgrnn or newcf function
5. Training the neural network model using train function
6. After completing the training, test the neural network using sim function
7. De-normalize the neural network output vector matrix using mapminmax function
8. Compute the error analysis using mse or perform function
