When I synthesise Piers borane from B(C6F5)3 and HSiEt3 in hot toluene after the reaction I removed under vacuum toluene and wash the powder with pentane in order to remove the Et3Si(C6F5) by product. However, very often my 19F NMR shows many signals after this and it takes me a long time before obtain the pur product (co-precipitation in pentane, ..)
Do you have any methods to obtain purely this product in shorter time?

Use less toluene for your reaction (product may start to precipitate during the heating), after 3-5 days of heating, concentrate the reaction mixture to approx half or third (do not remove all toluene). Separate product by suction, wash with pentane. Easy-peasy, usually, like 70-80% yield of fine microcrystalline HBCF
