How may I need to format taxonomy data to be uploaded in the microbiomeAnalyst for Picrust analysis??

I'm not familiar with your software. I used to perform this analysis using the online Galaxy pipeline. With this pipeline, you just need the filtered fasta-formated sequences as an input for PICRUSt. Maybe you can try this one.
