Unless and until a physicist is a philosopher, he cannot contribute anything to physics. Newton was not a philosopher. He deprived God of the only power as Prime Mover which Greek philosophy had assigned to Him. Because Newton gave the power of motion of celestial and terrestrial bodies to matter with inherent power of gravity, thus Newton reduced God to a powerless entity somewhere and he was a believer and would go to Church also which suggests he was not a philosopher. Either Newton should have left going to Church after giving his laws/theory or he should not have given the laws/theory because his theory was philosophically incorrect. Philosophical difficulties of Newtons theory is a long discourse and would be discussed in other discussion.
Whereas Einstein was a trickster right from the start and he would also talk about God whereas he laid the foundation of physics under which there is absolutely no chance of the existence of God. This is how they were not philosophers and their contribution to physics is negative. Maxwell has done excellent work as he could do just that because at that time time was absolute but yet he gave a clue that gravitation may be an electromagnetic force and this suggests that he was the real philosopher. I consider Descartes one of the great philosophers and it is he who had proposed the existence of aether and I looked for the proof of aether and finally I confirmed the existence of aether through the very experiment due to which aether was rejected. Since aether fills the space, space has to be absolute as such space cannot connected with anything like they did it by making the space-time concept and dragged the concept to Big Bang then a simple question arises as to where was aether before the Big Bang which question still stands at present as to where from Dark Matter & Dark Energy has come? Once aether is confirmed light/radiation is an electromagnetic wave motion due to the vibrations of electric dipoles of aether. With the aether the theory of relativity is baseless, E=mc^2 is fundamentally incorrect, space-time concept is absolute rubbish and all forces of nature are electromagnetic forces, Newtons incorrect laws are not universal laws, every star system has its time frame and different gravitational property depending upon the recessional motion of star system and all problems of physics are resolved. I don't believe mathematics should define physics as mathematics should be a tool in the hands of physics.
Maybe Newton and Einstein just knew better than Aristotle that the movement God made was a stretching movement and that was obviously enough to set everything in motion because, unlike Aristotle, they knew the Bible.

It is an irony that Einstein is respected even today worldwide though he was trickster. As a proof you should read my rebuttal to one Lann N. Ramez who accepted my open challenge to the theory of relativity and therein are half the tricks whereas other half are in my paper. Religion has the main objective to make humans good and peaceful beings and if this is not objective of the religion then it cannot a true religion and it is also task of religion to guide humanity where human mind cannot decide. Previously the Creator needed miracles to convince people because knowledge was not there but now we have two very powerful means namely science and philosophy to know the truth. In science we also have people like Einstein who for the sake of money, name and fame have deceived the physics as the result of which humanity has lost 119 years. After considerable thought I have decided to take this job on my self and I am expecting support from every truth loving person. Of course your first statement is false. Because Newton was generally not a philosopher he is still known as the father of classical physics. The study of physics in general is devoid of God and religion, but Newton was religious. There are scientific explanations of the prime mover devoid of a God. There should be a separation science and faith as there also should be between church and state.
Although Einstein was trickster in some ways, he still said he believed in Spinoza’s God the does not play a role in the affairs of men. As a trickster as you claim, he still could believe in God since he was a Jew, he also could have likely been an agnostic or atheist. True neither displayed an interest in the writings concerning philosophy both very likely considered the general ideas of philosophy.
In contrast Maxwell was a devout Christian and corresponded with others of faith-based topics as well as philosophical questions. He expressed no philosophical ideas openly, so to call him a philosopher of sorts would be no different from Einstein or Newton.
And Yes, Decarte was both a great philosopher of physicists; one of the greatest and most famous of all times.
As to dark energy, dark matter, inflation theory, and expanding space, warping of space, the expansion of the universe, cosmological constant, Hubble constant, are all false theory. But space-time is a valid concept to explain a position is space at a given point it time, with observable reference points from our perspective.
Today’s aether is called the Zero-Point-Field, which some, like Paul Dirac and De Broglie both proposed as having physical non-matter components as well as being an energy field. Electron-Magnetism relates to particle spin of fermions and atomic electrons, which create De Broglie waves, which have the right kind of symmetry, we call magnetic waves because they create magnetism.
And yes, mathematics doesn’t define physics but it is its most necessary tool.

Thanks for your comment, I await your reply. Yes, physics contains many perspectives of reality like all other sciences -- but it is still "real" science. But you seem to be confusing Modern Physics which has much error within it, with classical physics which has much less.
Two times I wrote the reply but it seems it has been removed deliberately. Please gi through my papers before I could explain the whole truth. I have the truth the whole of it. I sincerely inform you that without any intension of coming back to physics after the period of break of thirty years I read a verse of Quran in chapter 41 and verse 53 in short (41-53) which reads " We shall show you Our signs in the space and those which are within themselves then they will believe this is truth; is not the knowledge of every thing in the universe with your Sustainer not enough?". After rereading physics and also biology (you may not be knowing that I have done two masters one in physics and other one in forestry which is connected with both botany and zoology) I finally reached to the conclusion that it has to be aether and formal revival of vitalism for I had to read philosophy also as I found the concept of vitalism down from Plato to many more as one philosopher had given the name of monads but I named it revitalisn. Since I have shown that all forces of nature including gravitational and both nuclear forces are electromagnetic forces which in no case can explain consciousness, instincts, selp repair, growth, desire for survival and other characteristics of living things as such the birth of the concept of 'energy' because at many places in Quran the allegorical name of light was mentioned for it so I gave it the name of 'energy' was given to it. Since all phenomena of life cannot be explained by electromagnetic forces there have to biological laws also contained in the 'energy' which need to be researched. This is mentioned in my paper published in peer-reviewed journal under the names of "Theory of Origin and Phenomenon of Life" and "Foundation of Theory of Everything Non-living Things and Living Things". I thought after discussing so much about imagery space-time you should have a taste of the truth and its genesis..

I want to bring to your notice the contents of the verse 41-53 of Quran
"Soon We will show you the Our signs in space and what is in their selves and you will realise this (the Quran) is true; is not this enough your Sustainer knows everything"
These publications mentioned above also includes the two papers which substantiate the existence of two unknown substances namely aether and 'energy' which is referred in the Quran in verse (41-53) as Allah's signs which have been scientifically and philosophically proven thereby the divinity of Quran and Allah as knower and creator of everything in the universe is also proven. This has to be the final scientific and philosophical evidence of existence of Allah and divinity of Quran.
The two publications referred above are "Theory of Origin and Phenomenon of Life" and "Michelson -Morley Experiment; A Misconceived and Misinterpreted Experiment"
In the second paper the existence of aether has been confirmed which physicists were looking for since 1864 and an experiment was done in 1887 called Michelson -Morley Experiment which was interpreted to conclude the absence of aether. I proved the existence of aether by the same experiment by showing what and why mistakes were done to conclude the absence of sether. I showed that the experiment in fact confirms the existence of aether without any doubt whatsoever. In so far as the second unknown substance is concerned it is a metaphysical substance which has been philosophically shown to be only alternative to explain the phenomenon of life like consciousness, instincts, gowth, desire to survive, self repair, etc. but most importantly it contains the biological laws which act as source of livingness in living beings including humans due to which cells in the living beings are functional. This small philosophy paper has tremendous implication, besides changing the biological sciences, in medical sciences which undoubtedly will revolutionise the medical field.

Firstly I will like to inform you that I am not a Ph.D as I have done only two masters degrees in physics and forestry though my research work could easily fetch me at least a D. Sc. and a few Ph.D's. I am feeling proud to inform you that my research has the potential of changing the course of physical and biological sciences including philosophy, the mother of all subjects. A small philosophy paper titled 'Theory of Origin and Phenomenon of Life' has the potential of changing the biological sciences and philosophy. The only alternative which can explain the phenomenon of life especially cell function, consciousness, instincts, gowth, self repair and above all biological laws which were unknown till to date could now be unraveled the way I ravelled the contents of soul in my outline of book titled "Natural World Order and The Islamic Thought". There has to be a team of microbiologists and philosophers who can investigate the biological laws in animals and human as the 'energy' in both humans and animals is same. The biological laws can have revolutionary impact on medical science. The recognition of this paper will reopen the subject of philosophy as metaphysical substance have the formal recognition.
Now coming to my main subject that is physics. In brief my research will change the whole subject of physics as following are the domains which will have to be changed
1. The laws of nature are reduced from four laws to just one law and that is electromagnetic law.
2. The proof of existence of aether will change the emergent nature of space to absolute nature of space as the result of which whole subject of physics and its all branches have to be rewritten especially the Big Bang Theory is doomed to the extent nobody will like to take the name of this theory any more.
3. The only possible alternative theory for creation of universe is already proposed and also published in a peer-reviewed journal.
4. My research work falsifies the Greek philosophy, Newtonian philosophy, and the philosophy which is being adopted presently which has reduced the apparent four constituent of the universe to two constituents due to the fraud of Einstein. The final philosophy is that space is absolute and finite, time, matter and light/radiation are all emergent and the light/radiation propagates as an electromagnetic wave motion in the aether, the electric dipoles. Aether being the fifth constituent which fills the space.
In short the Darwinism, Einsteinism, Big Bang Theory and the pretext of science as the justification for being atheists is simply insanity.
