Is there a standard technique in order to identify a new marine gas hydrate reservoir (excluding using BSR)? If so, Can a petroleum-reservoir based model be used for the gas hydrate-filled fractured reservoir?
They use CMG Stars (which is a software commonly used for petroleum reservoir simulations) in CMG, there is gas hydrate module. So you can use it for gas hydrates in fractures. But also in Tough+Hydrate, you can model gas hydrates in fractures.
