Permission for the Multidimensional Neglectful Behavior Scale?

I want to use the MNBS - Form A but found out that the author have already passed away. I have also emailed one of the co-authors but I have not gotten a reply yet. Does anyone know any other way that I can gain permission to use this or if this scale can be used freely? Thanks.

The best answer is I don't know, but the scale and directions are freely available online so my *opinion* is that as long as you cite if/where needed you should be fine.
