I am applying periodic boundary conditions on the matrix phase (without inserting any fibers into it) and calculating the effective Young's modulus in X direction. In the property module, Youngs Modulus as 3 GPa and Poisson's ratio as 0.33.

After running the simulation by applying a multi-point linear constraint equation, I am getting the Effective Youngs modulus in the X direction as 4.379GPa. But how can Young's modulus be more than 3GPa, I mean it should come near about 3GPa.
