Performing peer-review of a journal article or writing a journal article? Which one do you enjoy more?
Both since the benefit of the new data i am sharing while writing an article or i am contributing by reviewing is well applied by the scientific community...

В тоже время написание рецензии - это признание заслуг ученого и его способности квалифицированно оценить работы коллег.
Поэтому написание статей и рецензирование имеют равное значение. Приоритет одного из видов деятельности зависит от предпочтений конкретного ученого и носит ситуативный характер.
Reviews, recommendations, references, providing literature, correction of a text, it is my work and i like it
I prefer always ISSN peer reviewed and JOURNAL OF INDEXING ( JOI ) publication. Revision may be essential by peers for a good publication .
Writing a publication is preferred , though both are important and complement each other .
I prefer both but writing a journal article is a bit interesting for me.
I prefer to write a journal article than performing peer- review. Why because, writing journal article feel one's satisfaction to put his research, thoughts and ideas in stream line and be happy to present in a good orientation. This not only gives subject knowledge but tells also how one can go ahead with further research.
Both are exciting processes for me but I like writing manuscript more than peer reviewing them. Thank you all colleagues for sharing your insights.
Recently, I have reduced acceptance of articles for peer review. It is due to my reduced ability perhaps related with my age.
But still I am writing one article.
So, perhaps article writing is more important and interesting to me.

Request to review scientific papers does come to you when you have already published important research papers in journals of repute. So, it will be nice to continue the both because you as a good researcher can help younger generation scientists in writing good scientific articles.
