Hi. The Lambda 365 in our lab has some issues - namely, depending on the occasion either with slot calibration or with the D2 wavelenght calibration. The elements that drive the grating and the slit are controlled by stepper motors, and we can hear that they don't seem to work properly. Unfortunately, there are no labels on the motors, and I would like to know of you, my dear friends, know what motors those are. The prices for original parts are horrendous... so I am looking for proper replacements. The unit is old, but worked perfectly do far, and we have an integrating sphere for it, so replacing it with a different brand would be costly.
Sorry i am not familiar with the lambda 365 but i suggest you check the stepper driver before looking to change the motor. It is usually the most fragile part in the system and can cause the type of problem you are describing. It is also often separated from the main circuit board and may be easy to change.
